Auditions 2025
Our auditions are now open for this year. We’re a fast-growing, high-energy group of passionate singers, and we can’t wait to hear what you could bring to our sound.
We rehearse every Monday from 7:30–9:30pm in central London. Membership is £40/month, paid by direct debit on the 7th of each month.
LAC is more than just a rehearsal group. We’re a lively, social community who genuinely love hanging out together. We're building up to more regular performances around London, and we make sure there’s plenty of fun (and harmony!) off the stage too. From post-rehearsal drinks and karaoke nights to group outings and supporting each other’s creative projects.

Who You Are
We’re a contemporary pop a cappella group singing in six parts, with fun and dynamic arrangements that are both musically exciting and vocally challenging. Each piece is arranged for one singer per part, and that’s how we typically rehearse, but some performances involve larger groups, where we may have 2–3 people on each part. So we’re looking for confident, musical singers who can hold their own line independently, while also blending beautifully within a section and the full ensemble.
You should feel comfortable singing solo as well as in harmony, using a microphone, and engaging with basic stage movement (think simple choreography) to help bring our performances to life.
We rehearse using sheet music and recorded part tracks. You don’t need to be a sight-reader, but some music reading ability will definitely help you get the most out of the process.
What We Need From You
Video 1
A recording of a song that shows you off as a singer — no longer than 1 minute 30 seconds (a verse and chorus is ideal). Please choose a song that highlights your strengths in the voice part you're auditioning for (e.g. sing in a suitable range/style for Soprano 1 if that's your part). This can be either a cappella or accompanied by a backing track.
Video 2
A recording of you singing bars 61 - 76 of Just Dance. This may be recorded to the full track version in the google drive. We are looking for three key areas here - self learning, vocal tone and pitch accuracy learning in a short amount of time. A score and guide tracks will be provided to learn from, on our google drive.
Form
A filled in form outlining your range, background and other pertinent details - so we can get to know you and what you can offer. We’d also like to know how we can help, so if you require any accommodations, either digitally or in person, please let us know.
